About Enliven

Enliven Pilates is a Vancouver-based Pilates and movement therapy studio.

We are a collective of movement practitioners who are passionate about helping people deepen their connection to their bodies and to themselves. Our aim is to create a nurturing, inclusive, and intimate space in which each client can discover and expand their own movement potential and embodiment.

Each practitioner runs their own practice, bringing their unique gifts, influences, and expertise to their sessions. Our practitioners offer reformer-based and mat Pilates sessions tailored to individual needs.

We acknowledge and are grateful to be living, teaching and moving on the unceded territories of the ʷməθkʷəy̓ əm (Musqueam), sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and sel ̓ íl ̓witulh (TsleilWaututh) First Nations.

Suvali

I guide individuals on a journey toward embodied wholeness - reconnecting mind and body through therapeutic movement and somatic awareness. My work offers a safe, supportive space to:

  • Reconnect with the body’s intelligence

  • Discover inner strength and resilience

  • Improve postural alignment and mobility

  • Explore more efficient, easeful movement

Grounded in the understanding that mind and body are inseparable, our work together reveals how emotional and psychological patterns live in the body—and how mindful movement can help shift those patterns, building new resources from within. Over time, clients often develop:

  • Increased self-trust

  • Emotional resilience

  • A grounded, integrated sense of self

Hana

Hana is a certified STOTT PILATES® instructor and a professional dance artist, who is passionate about helping individuals restore balance, reduce pain, and move with greater awareness and freedom.

She has worked with a diverse range of clients across all life stages, including those navigating: post-surgery recovery (e.g. joint replacements, hysterectomy), conditions such as scoliosis and Parkinson’s, injury and pain management (e.g. sciatica, plantar fasciitis, bulging discs), prenatal/postnatal care, and healthy aging.

She blends her background in dance, somatic practices, and Pilates to help clients explore:

  • Restored postural alignment and balance

  • Improved mobility and strength

  • More efficient, easeful, and joyful movement

Tara

Tara is a Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CSEP-CEP) and Kinesiologist with specialized training in pre- and postnatal health, Pilates, and manual therapy techniques. She combines science-based exercise programming with mindful movement to help clients restore balance, reduce pain, and move with greater ease and confidence.

Her approach integrates active rehabilitation, Pilates-based movement, and Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST)—a gentle, assisted technique that targets the fascia and joint capsules to improve flexibility, release tension, and enhance overall mobility. FST is especially effective in addressing chronic stiffness, restoring range of motion, and relieving pain.
